Scotch whisky industry launches diversity and inclusivity charter

The Scotch whisky industry has today launched a diversity and inclusivity charter in a bid to improve equal opportunities across the sector.

The charter has been developed by trade body the Scotch Whisky Association and underscores its commitment to diversity across the industry's global workforce.

Ironically, the launch comes following a week in which there was a social media row about sexism in a leading industry guide.
